The new Reverse Base in the World Cup Edition does not feature the usual 9° backsweep but comes with a 7° backsweep. Thanks to the reduced backsweep, you save a lot of energy on longer descents, as the center of gravity of the handlebars is more "front-heavy." This allows for more extended arms, making the bike easier to handle.

All Reverse handlebars and stems are tested according to the EFBE standard MTB-G. The "G" stands for Gravity. The components undergo a three-phase test:
1. 100,000 cycles of opposing and same-phase load.
2. Maximum load test under intended use conditions.
3. Overload test beyond intended use to simulate foreseeable misuse or accident damage.

Especially for lightweight and carbon components, these maximum and overload tests are extremely important for the rider, ensuring that they can rely on the material even in extreme situations.
