Like its mountain bike counterpart, the Shimano Deore Trekking FC-T6010 triple crankset with trekking-specific components offers first-class function for demanding riders. For the Hollowtech II crank with chain guard ring, Shimano relies on a wide gradation.

The Hollowtech II crankset was developed with a view to optimum and efficient power transmission. Hollowtech technology enables extremely lightweight, hollow crankarms, which are manufactured using Shimano's exclusive forging technology to maximise rigidity. In addition, the right crank of the Hollowtech II crankset is firmly connected to the axle, achieving an optimum balance between maximum stiffness and minimum weight.
