OT-SP41 Outer Housing

The OT-SP41 is the outer housing that is pre-lubricated along its entire length with a special silicone lubricant to enable quick and precise shifting. The OT-SP41 minimizes friction losses of the inner cable to an absolute minimum, allowing for fast response and effortless operation of the shifting mechanism. The rider benefits from the elimination of shifting delays and excessive force required for shifting, especially in terrain that demands frequent gear changes or during long distances.

Polymer-Coated Inner Cables

The secret lies in a polymer coating that, under a microscope, resembles tubes wrapped around the cable. This results in a reduced surface area that rubs against the inner housing liner. Additionally, grease is retained for a longer period. The main advantages are significantly reduced effort when shifting and a sensation of quicker gear changes.
