2. Look X-TRACK RACE pedals
The X-Track Race impresses with its easy entry and exit and a large contact surface. The contact area of 515 mm² provides the connection between the shoe sole and the pedal, which is the most crucial point where the rider's power is transferred to the bike. The spring tension can be adjusted between 8 and 12 Nm, allowing all users (from beginners to very experienced users) to choose the setting that best suits the discipline in question. Chromoly axle line for more reliabilityThe Keo Classic 3 axle line uses an oversize steel axle. It consists of a miniature ball bearing (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing for higher load capacity. A spacer sleeve is provided to hold the needle bearing. It reduces friction and ensures a smoother rotary motion. In addition, a new method of controlling the way the axle line is pressed into the body makes it possible to guarantee greater pedal reliability. Look axle lines are only released after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg at the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (causing an impact with each rotation).
