1. Torq Surfboard TEC RVR River Surf 5.4
The RVR is a specialized board designed for rivers and standing waves. We collaborated with surfers at the legendary Eisbach to bring this design to life.
The design combines two main features: a large glide area in the center with a super responsive tail.
The middle of the board is wide, featuring a single concave and a full rail. The RVR has the buoyancy needed for river surfing and provides instant acceleration to generate speed in short sections. In the rear third, the outline narrows with a winger behind the front fins, the rail becomes finer, and the bottom concave transitions into a slight V behind the rear fin. These characteristics create a very responsive tail, allowing the board to turn tightly in the pocket. This board quickly gains speed and enables tight pocket turns and off-the-lips maneuvers.
Our super strong TEC layup includes an additional 6oz fiberglass rail band to withstand the extra impacts that a riverboard inevitably encounters.
5.4 x 19 1/8 x 2 1/8 - 23.9 liters
