Exactly. Once attached, you usually leave it on this bike. If the trailer is to be towed alternately by different bikes, you will need to buy a second one. (Remounting is tedious)

As a rule, none is included in the delivery, the so-called coupling. You have to attach this to your rear axle and then you're ready to go
