The 3M Peltor X4 earmuffs are color-coded bright green, making it easy to select the right protection levels from the X-series. Our earmuffs combine 3M's well-known expertise in hearing protection products with advanced technology and feature a specially designed spacer as well as a new cushion technology that enhances noise attenuation without excessive volume and weight. This means that the X4 is lightweight and even more streamlined than other high-attenuation earmuffs, while still reducing noise by up to 33 dB.

The electrically insulated design with a double headband reduces heat buildup on the head, and the plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust that 3M has to offer. It is both strong and comfortable, as the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that exerts stable pressure on the head. No exposed metal means that the product is dielectric and provides electrical resistance for applications with spark or charge hazards.
