If the battery life is exceeded, you can contact our customer service to have the battery replaced at the factory. The operation of the lock remains particularly safe and convenient thanks to the rechargeable battery, simple control via the ABUS One app, and encrypted Bluetooth® communication between the smartphone and the lock. The proven ABUS SmartX technology, a loud alarm in case of tampering attempts, and the 13.5 mm thick locking bolt made of specially hardened steel provide the best possible theft protection. The lock can make your daily life easier by allowing you to grant permission to open the lock to other people via the ABUS One app. This way, family members, colleagues, or friends can safely ride your motorcycle home when you don't want to leave it unattended.
