Is there only one door that needs to be equipped with access control? Then SCALA solo is the perfect solution. In private areas such as single-family and multi-family homes, as well as in smaller establishments like workshops, shared offices, or law firms, SCALA solo is the ideal entry-level solution for access control. It consists of the SCALA Mini-Controller, which can be integrated into any standard switch box in the house, and a reader. Instead of using keys, the door is opened with ID cards, a PIN, or a security-optimized combination of ID and PIN. Access permissions can be easily configured via keyboard input with a master code. With the SCALA solo version, up to 99 codes or cards can be assigned for a single door: for family members, employees, suppliers, or visitors. If a code or an ID is no longer needed, it can be easily and specifically deleted.

The SCALA solo set, consisting of a mini-controller and SCALA solo PIN reader, is delivered as a plug & play device. The user does not need a PC or software for operation and management and can start using access control immediately. The connection of a reader, door opener, and door monitoring contact is made to the mini-controller. Future use of the mini-controller as a door module in higher-level solutions, such as an expansion to SCALA web or SCALA net, is easily possible.
