The THERMANIT JE-308L TIG welding rod from Böhler Welding is a highly alloyed, stainless welding rod specifically designed for the joining and overlay welding of similar and related austenitic CrNi(N) and CrNiMo(N) steels, as well as cast steel types. With a diameter of 1.6 mm and a length of 1000 mm, this welding rod offers excellent corrosion resistance, comparable to that of low-carbon and stabilized austenitic 18/8 CrNi(N) steels. The outstanding toughness of the weld metal at extremely low temperatures down to -196°C makes it an ideal choice for demanding applications. The TIG welding rod is offered in a convenient pack of 5 kg, allowing for efficient handling and storage.
