The Busch-Jaeger Compensator 6596 prevents the self-ignition of energy-saving or LED lamps in switches with orientation lighting (parallel to the light source). It avoids the afterglow of low-voltage halogen or LED light sources when switched off due to possible humming voltage or when controlled via push dimmers without a neutral connection (parallel to the transformer primary side or to the light source). Additionally, it prevents noise generation in electronic transformers when switched off when controlled via push dimmers without a neutral connection (parallel to the transformer primary side). The compensator eliminates humming voltages on the control line in blinds control group controls (parallel between the control wire up and neutral as well as down and neutral).
