The anchor is installed using the Fischer HM-Z 1 mounting tool in pre-insertion mounting. The tool pulls the anchor into the hollow space against the panel building material. The expansion arms then fold out and press against the back of the panel. Alternatively, installation with a screwdriver or cordless drill is also possible. The metric internal thread allows the attachment to be secured and released multiple times.

When using a cordless drill or screwdriver, the pre-mounted screw must first be removed. To screw in and expand the anchor, the attachment or a helper tool (max. 6 mm) should be used simultaneously as a rotation lock.
