  • It is a splinter-free blade that withstands high feed forces and enables clean and fast cuts
  • Sandflex® blades are safer in all conditions, especially when used in older machines or by inexperienced operators
  • Correct blade tension is essential to ensure a straight cut and long blade life
  • If the tension is too low, the blade can twist or bend upwards. Both lead to overstressing of the blade and uneven, curved cuts
  • Excessive tension damages the blade and the saw frame
  • In general, the following rule applies: The harder the material, the lower the stroke speed and the higher the feed rate should be
  • The feed rate is too high for burnt chips
  • Even if teeth break out, the feed rate is too high
  • Fine, powdery chips are a sign that the feed rate is too low
  • The correctly selected feed rate, on the other hand, can be recognised by fine, curled chips
  • The teeth should not yet touch the workpiece when the machine is started
  • As a rule of thumb, at least three teeth should engage with the workpiece at the same time.
