Counterplug for closing the charge air system

  • Suitable for passenger car and commercial vehicle turbo engines, both diesel and petrol.
  • Enables quick diagnosis by pressurizing the charge air system with a bayonet plug diameter of 31.0 - 61.0 mm in installed condition.
  • Allows for time-saving and professional detection of leaking charge air coolers and invisible cracks in charge air hoses.
  • Also useful for checking the EGR valve for leaks.
  • Compatible with all common hoses of the charge air system equipped with a bayonet fitting.
  • In the event of a pressure loss, the leak can be located quickly and easily by feeling the section or using leakage spray.
  • Can be used in conjunction with the matching inlet test adapter and air intake system adapter, as well as in combination with a conventional tyre gauge.
