Novoferm Homematic IP Set

Control your Novoferm garage sectional door via app. If you purchase a new Novoferm garage door opener (NovoPort, Novomatic 423, and Novomatic 563 S) or own one of the predecessor models from the year 2016 onwards, you can control your Novoferm garage sectional door with the Homematic IP app. This app is available for free in the App Store or Google Play Store, making it compatible with both Apple and Android systems. You can operate the door with a simple swipe on the touchscreen. The door control can also be easily integrated into existing Homematic IP SmartHome systems.

Door control functions:

• Open and close the garage door
• Control the lighting of the garage door opener
• Check the current door status (Open/Closed)
• Ventilation position for optimal garage ventilation

Components in the package:
1. Homematic IP Access Point: This SmartHome hub connects to your standard router and transmits data between all SmartHome components. Suitable for Novoferm garage door openers: NovoPort®, Novomatic 423, 563 S, and 823 S.
2. Novoferm plug-in module for controlling an opener via the SmartHome partner app (Homematic IP). The plug-in module connects to the garage door opener via a mini-USB interface and establishes the connection to the SmartHome hub. Suitable for Novoferm garage door openers: NovoPort®, Novomatic 423, 563 S, and 823 S.

For door control via app or if the door is not visible, the door system requires a light barrier that detects obstacles and automatically interrupts the closing process.
