The pump is compatible with the three valve types: Dunlop valve, French valve (Presta) and car tyre valve (Schrader). It is supplied with adapters for all standard valves and is therefore suitable for these valve types. The maximum pressure is 10.3 bar and the pump is suitable for car, bicycle and motorbike tyres as well as balls and air toys.

Yes, the battery is actually permanently installed. And as far as I have seen, there are no screws. So the housing is held together with plastic clips. But Bosch offers a battery replacement service. Unfortunately I can't say what the costs are here. But I would bet that outside of the warranty, a new purchase makes more sense than a repair.

As with any other pump, the hose gets warm because the air is forced into the hose under pressure. This is normal. To change the hose, the appliance must be opened. Since opening the unit by the customer voids the warranty, the pump must be sent to Bosch Service.
