I got this grill, and the back panel is quite short, which leaves the grill open wide from the back. Is this normal? The back panel in the assembly manual seemed longer than the part I actually got. Can someone maybe post a picture of the back panel of the SP-335? Thanks!

Hello, yes mine is the same. I checked the official Weber website and you can use the 360 degree view to look at the grill from behind (where you will see the gap). I imagine that it's important for airflow. Hope this helps and happy grilling!

In the instructions and in all the photos we have seen, the rear element closes the gas container storage compartment completely. Ours is only 1/3 high, i.e. the rear side is not completely closed. Is this normal (and if so, why?) or have we received the wrong element?

Hello Together Could someone tell me what kind of gas cylinder I can use? In terms of volume? There are usually 5, 7.5 or 10 kg gas bottles. Thank you very much!

You can use all of them, from 8kg you have to fix them outside in this hole-grid-covering, smaller bottles you may also put in the cupboard below.

Hello Together In some videos, the round GBS hole is in the middle or eccentric of the sear zone. In other videos, the hole is above the burner of the sear zone. What is currently being delivered? Is the hole above the sear burner more to the left or is it in the middle?

On my barbecue, the GBS hole (i.e. the part of the grate that can be removed to fit accessories) is perfectly centred, above the middle burner, and therefore slightly to the right of the sears burner.

The item will be delivered by post in most cases and by Planzer in exceptional cases. Unfortunately, collection is not possible in one of our shops due to the size and weight.

Hello together Is the sear station button on this grill item: 12379045, Weber Spirit EP-335 Premium GBS red or not? On all three videos under the grill, the button is not red, which I also like better... other suppliers show the same grill without the red button... ?!? Thank you...

I'm not clear if this Spirit EP-335 Premium GBS, which has the red button for the searzone, includes the grill plate with the removable round grate? Or does it have the solid grill plate?

The grill has a sear zone and a removable round grate in the middle. I've had it for 3 years and am very happy with it.

The product description says that the grill grate material is "stainless steel". However, one question was answered that it was a cast iron grate. What is it now? If cast iron, is the Weber Spirit SP-335 Premium GBS really with stainless steel grate? It says so, but it also says so here....
