The RainBird ESP-TM2 is an outdoor irrigation controller designed for garden and landscape irrigation applications. This 4-station controller operates on 230V power and has Wi-Fi compatibility for remote access. The device comes with a weatherproof housing suitable for outdoor installation. It supports the control of up to 4 independent watering zones, allowing for customised watering schedules based on different garden areas. This zoning capability allows for more efficient water distribution and can reduce pump capacity requirements. The controller offers wireless operation via smartphone or tablet connectivity when paired with the optional Wi-Fi module and enables global system control. Integration with local weather stations is possible for weather adaptive irrigation, which can reduce water consumption by up to 30 per cent. Three separate watering programmes can be configured, each supporting 4 start times per day per station. Seasonal adjustment functionality ranges from 5 per cent to 200 per cent capacity. The system allows sensor connections for enhanced control. Operational features include simple rotary knob control with push button interface, backlit LCD display, 365-day calendar programming and manual watering function via the rotary dial. Programmes can be run in sequence with adjustable time intervals between operations. The watering duration per station ranges from 0 to 6 hours. Other functions include valve delay settings from 1 second to 9 hours, an automatic circuit breaker with fault indicator, programme memory storage during power outages, downtime programming.
