The clay cone waterer is a clever tool for keeping the soil in flower pots and flower beds moist for longer periods of time. This is particularly practical during a summer with high temperatures or during a holiday trip. The watering cones are inserted into the soil or buried up to the edge. A wine or PET bottle containing up to 1 litre of water is then inserted into the opening of the watering aid. The permeable clay gently releases the water into the soil over several days.
