These elements may only be used where there are adequate thermal, electrical, and mechanical protections to prevent access to hazardous points without the use of tools. Ceramic heating elements feature Ni-Cr resistance wires and are available with or without a thermocouple (type K). They operate at temperatures ranging from +300°C to +750°C (572°F to 1382°F). The glazed ceramic surface protects against oxidation and corrosion, ensuring high radiation efficiency. The length of the connecting lead is 100 mm, and the recommended irradiation distance is 100 mm to 200 mm for industrial applications. Applications include long wave radiation curing, heating, and drying.
