The Gas Alarm GX-HS is a gas detector for various gases and warns at gas concentrations that are well below life-threatening levels. This monitoring system is therefore very sensitively calibrated. A suitable sensor must be used for each type of gas. The alarm signal is indicated both visually and audibly on the device (an external buzzer/piezo alarm can be connected optionally). Additionally, a potential-free relay is activated to control, for example, a magnetic shut-off valve, ensuring that no further gas can escape in the event of a leak in the gas line or gas boiler. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Please observe the five safety rules!

The Gas Alarm GX-HS is mounted on a standard 35 mm DIN rail in distribution boards and control cabinets. Depending on the type of connected sensor, the device detects various gases, such as town gas and natural gas (methane/butane), carbon monoxide, smoke, or carbon dioxide. A specified installation height is required for each sensor type, as gases have different properties and distribute accordingly in the room. Available compatible sensors as of 03/2025: GX-LNG - for LNG, town/natural/liquid gases, methane, butane, propane, ethanol - limit values 10 - 20 % LEL.
