The PRO Tank Ring – A Revolution in Evolution

The PRO Tank Ring perfectly combines the innovative power of two German companies: The tried-and-true locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guiding aid of Fidlock technology. We have significantly improved the positioning of the upper ring: The adjustable upper ring is pre-mounted with a guide rail on the tank bag, eliminating the need for drilling into the tank bag. This allows for individual alignment of the upper ring on the guide rail at the bottom of the tank bag. Once the appropriate position is found, the upper ring is securely screwed in place. When switching to another motorcycle, the position of the upper ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guiding aid developed by Fidlock complements the already mature mechanical locking mechanism from SW-MOTECH: The magnets guide the upper ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the lock engages securely. Thus, the power of the magnets assists in placing the tank bag. With a single motion, attach the tank bag and hit the road – the luggage is secure and enjoyable.

The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag while the magnets align the two parts of the ring together. The robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic with its highly precise locking geometry ensures that the tank bag remains firmly in place under all road conditions.
