Product details
The Tibber Pulse P1 meter is a real-time energy monitoring device and load balancing module that connects directly to smart meters via the P1 port. This connection ensures a continuous power supply to the device, eliminating the need for batteries or an additional power connection in the meter cabinet. Installation is straightforward using the supplied RJ12 cable, which plugs into the P1 port, typically located behind a small cover on the front or side of compatible smart meters. The device provides live insights into power consumption patterns and allows users to monitor their energy consumption in real time.
It also has load balancing functionality when used with compatible charging stations such as the Easee Charge Lite, Wallbox Pulsar Max and Zaptec Go. This load balancing capability optimises charging processes for electric vehicles through efficient management of power distribution. The Tibber Pulse P1 meter is compact with dimensions of approximately 8.5 cm wide, 6.5 cm high and 3.2 cm deep, weighing 120 grammes. It has a white housing made of durable ABS plastic with a matt finish. The device operates in a temperature range of -10 °C to 50 °C and has a power consumption of less than 0.5 W during operation. It is important to note that this device only monitors electricity consumption and does not record gas usage. Checking compatibility with existing smart meters is recommended by checking the meter manufacturer and model specifications or consulting the local network operator.
