The color analysis device determines the RGB color value and the HSL degree for hue, saturation, and brightness/contrast using an external sensor. The color sensor features a 0° color measurement geometry for self-luminous objects (CRT display, LCD monitor, light sources) and a 45° geometry for all materials that are illuminated by the built-in LED lighting (reflective method, required for textiles, paper, color surfaces, etc.).
