yes you can. i just made pulled pork with the meater 2 weeks ago. it's simply awesome. I set 3 alarms, the first for the core temperature, the other two if the temperature drops below 110 and one if it rises above 130.

Also good. I have alarms for: outside <110 (if gas would run out), core temperature >75 (start mopping), core temperature target 90.
But this is the first time I've done a long job with the meater.
