Question about Ubiquiti UVC-G4 Doorbell

It is not entirely clear to me from the description which types of communication are possible. The doorbell can use WLAN and LAN (poe)? But the Chime module can only do LAN (poe), no WLAN? Is that correct?

Hello Matthias

UniFi has both variants.
The variant which has PoE
is not capable of WLAN.

However, there is a variant that can and this also applies to the Chrime. However, it is not available with a CH plug.

I have a Dreammachine se
1 time the cam was too cold and was out of action.
Make sure that the display goes to standby, otherwise the unit gets too hot.
The Dreammine can recognise you, but only with an extended security licence.
I am disappointed with Chime. You can't upload any bell types, let alone one yourself, and it's not loud.
For the doorcam you can upload a .wav file yourself or sing into it.
The cam is ok and has a wide range, I'm impressed. And the recording is ok. Display too small to create a name file.
And the button has the Ubiquity sign on it instead of a bell. The visitor doesn't know where to press.
The software takes some getting used to. But it's ok, and there are always new features, which I think is ok.
Digitec describes the hardware a lot wrong, which I expect from hardware suppliers that they deliver good quality. Digitec has become like Amazon. What a pity.
