With the motor attachment, the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a fully-fledged electric glider model. This allows the model to be flown in level flight without a high-start system. The motor attachment has been aerodynamically designed to enable gliding in updrafts without any issues. The cable routing occurs inside the motor attachment, ensuring that no cables hang freely and are neatly integrated into the model's fuselage. The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and controller specifically configured for this model, as well as a folding propeller with a spinner. A blade stop for the folding propeller is also included. The motor attachment can be retrofitted to all Lilienthal 40 RC models and can be purchased separately. An additional advantage is that the motor attachment can also be universally fitted to other aircraft models of this type and class. A 2S LiPo battery with 500mAh, such as the Hacker ECO-X No. 20500241 (not included), is suitable as a drive battery. The appropriate connector for this drive battery is already soldered to the controller, allowing the entire drive unit to be used without any soldering work. All cable lengths are pre-fabricated to fit perfectly. The Lilienthal 40 RC model is not included and can be ordered under item number 1084/00.
