In Sheriff of Nottingham, players can experience Nottingham not only as a merchant of the city, but each player will step into the shoes of the Sheriff in every round. Players declare goods they want to bring into the city, goods that are secretly kept in their linen bags. The Sheriff then has to determine who is entering the city with their goods, who will be inspected, and who gets to have their goods confiscated!.
