Evergreen is a strategic game where the goal is to develop a lush ecosystem. You plant sprouts, let trees grow, and place other natural elements on your planet to make it the greenest and most fertile of all! Each player has a game board divided into zones (biomes) where they must plant sprouts for them to grow into trees, first small and then large. The game unfolds over four seasons, each with a decreasing number of rounds. Each round begins with a drafting phase, where players choose a biome card that indicates the area where they want to perform the Plant and/or Grow action in the next phase. The card also shows a power that can be used anywhere on the planet, offering additional opportunities for growth or other enhancements. The biome cards not chosen by the players are placed in the fertility area and are equally important: they determine the fertility of each biome for the final scoring and guide the decision on where it is most advantageous to grow the largest trees. At the end of a season, you score points from the trees that receive sunlight and from the largest forest (trees nearby) on your planet. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
