Hanayama Cast Puzzles are well-crafted metal puzzles that stand out not only for their exceptional quality but also for their extraordinary and high-quality design. The name "Cast Puzzle" comes from the English word "to cast," which means to mold metal.

The challenge of this intricate metal puzzle is to separate the pieces and then reassemble them.

This brass puzzle was first introduced to me by Prague's own Professor Bakalar. I borrowed it in Atlanta and returned it to him six months later in Luxembourg. During the time I owned it, I managed to recreate it with full permission.

This version of the Cast Puzzle might even be better than the original. It definitely remains one of the more entertaining puzzles. The central concept of this puzzle is its "cage.".
