The triple headlights change with the direction of travel, operate in conventional mode, and can be digitally controlled. Warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. There is a close coupling with a guiding mechanism between the locomotive and the tender. The rear of the tender includes a NEM socket with a close coupling and a guiding mechanism, while the front of the locomotive also has a NEM socket with a close coupling.
