The most beautiful among the beautiful: A queen for the model railway. Until the late sixties, she was a true icon on DB tracks: the powerful express steam locomotive 18 323, which has the potential to become a star in the Märklin program as a perfectly designed model. As a strong and fast machine, she was in operation throughout the Federal Republic until 1969 under the direction of the Federal Railway Central Office. The new Märklin model is therefore a true highlight in any collection and on any layout that represents the important DB era III. Her appearance amidst the then ultra-modern diesel and electric locomotives and the widely used standard steam locomotives will attract great attention, just like her famous predecessor, with unusual stories connected to this German locomotive icon.
