In Pan's Island, players travel to Neverland and take on the roles of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy, Lily, John, and Michael. Together, they must find and rescue the Lost Children who have been kidnapped by Captain Hook. To do this, they try to understand the visions they receive. However, the nefarious Captain Hook is determined to thwart their plans and lurks around every corner, waiting for the brave adventurers. Will they manage to find a total of four Lost Children before the dreaded pirate tracks them down for the fifth time?

Although all players in Pan's Island form a team and work towards a common goal, they do not have the same information: each player knows the location of one child but cannot reveal it. Instead, the person to their right receives encrypted clues to help them find the child themselves. In each round, players choose vision cards (distance or direction vision cards) and simultaneously assess the danger posed by Captain Hook based on the clues from the vision cards. Finally, everyone takes turns moving on the game board, setting up a camp, and/or searching for the Lost Children. All of this takes place directly on the laminated game board using movement and exploration templates. Players mark their movement with erasable markers and their position with their own figure. An adventure mode and unique abilities of the heroes provide additional challenges.
