Product details

All the motifs in the Famous Painters series have been realised by Schipper Arts & Crafts with great skill and care using the paint-by-numbers technique. It is a highlight for every hobby painter to recreate these precious originals and to visualise their creation.
When Claude Monet (1840-1926) laid out his famous garden in Giverny, it served as a motif for many of his garden paintings. The painting Water Lily Pond with Japanese Bridge was created in 1899. In the last years of his life, Claude Monet suffered from a serious eye condition, which became increasingly visible in his paintings. Although he regained his sight after two operations, he was dominated by depression and even destroyed half-finished paintings and sketches because he did not want them to be sold. He died in Giverny on 5 December 1926.
Premium masterclass. Pictures in portrait or landscape format of 40 x 50 cm, grouped next to or under each other, are particularly suitable for a picture gallery. The painting template has a tactile and visible linen structure. This not only improves the appearance of the finished painting, but also emphasises the painterly character of the picture and supports the desired oil-on-canvas effect. Note: Schipper Arts & Crafts offers matching aluminium frames for this picture format.
