The anteater from Schleich Wild Life lives in the savannas and grasslands of South and Central America. This mammal primarily feeds on ants and termites. To extract them from their burrows, it burrows its long snout in and then extends its 60 cm long, sticky tongue, on which the insects stick. Anteaters also have a bushy tail that appears larger than it actually is due to its long hair.
