Psychologists and teachers recommend worry eaters as worry boxes. Children can write down or draw their worries or fears and put them in the zippered mouth of a worry eater. Not that this solves all problems straight away, but it's a first step and - any bet - you'll feel a bit better straight away. And when the worry eaters tell their parents about their worries, they can talk to their children about them. What's more, worry eaters are great for cuddling in good times and bad - and not just for children.
