The YAK 3U is designed for the advanced model pilot. It is a semi-scale aircraft that is easy to fly and quick to assemble.

The largely pre-fabricated model is conventionally constructed from balsa wood and plywood, providing great stability and solid flight performance.

The motor mount is already installed, and the hinges are pre-installed. An additional motor mount for electric drives is included in the kit.

The model is designed for the new electric retractable landing gear and is available with or without this landing gear.

This YAK-3U is controlled like the original across all axes and also features flaps.

Its size makes the model a "take-it-anywhere" aircraft that can be transported in smaller vehicles, thanks in part to the detachable, removable wings.
