The Volkswagen Golf Mk.1 was a veteran of European Touring Car Racing. The Kamei-sponsored car with its eye-catching livery raced in the low-modification Group 2 class. This famous car is available as an R/C model on the lightweight and "fun-to-drive" M-05 chassis, which features a balanced design and a three-piece steering linkage. The car remains stable and helps to realise high speeds through corners while staying true to the track. Even high speeds are no problem.

The original was launched by Tamiya in 1981. Experience the rebirth now! The M-05 chassis is the further development of the popular M-03 and M-04 series. The steering servo and speed controller are positioned to achieve optimum weight distribution and a lower centre of gravity. In addition, three-part, adjustable steering linkages ensure precise steering behaviour. The stable driving behaviour on fast straights and in tight bends ensures a lot of driving fun. Numerous M-03 tuning parts are compatible with the M-05 chassis of the Mini Cooper, thanks in part to the variable wheelbase.
