Sweet & Spicy is a card game for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and up. The cat's belly was terribly empty, and something to eat was needed. Lemon-chili? Why not? Let's put it in the cat's face. From the bittersweet pain, this game from the little kitty was born.
Sweet & Spicy is the child-friendly version of Spicy and a bluff card game. Instead of wasabi, you can now play the lemon, and there is a new card in the game: the Super Joker. However, the game principle remains the same.
As with Spicy, the cards are played face down, allowing players to bluff when announcing their card. It's not just about bluffing convincingly; a card that is at least half correct can almost always be played skillfully from your hand. In this bluffing game by Spartaco Albertarelli, you can only see the cards of the other players, but never your own. When it's your turn, you must declare a number that is lower than the total sum of all the cards in play, while increasing the last declared number. Alternatively, the previously declared number can be challenged. When all cards are revealed, it becomes clear who has the clever Coyote on their side.
The artist Zona Evon Shroyer (Yupik Alaskan Native) is a master of the traditional art of the Northwest Coast, whose richness of detail and complexity require years of study and practice.
