With over 1000 units sold, the Vectron is one of the most successful rail vehicles ever built. It can now be found all over Europe, and the routes are getting longer. Slovakian and Swiss Vectrons meet in the heart of the Ruhr area, and ÖBB is expanding its network into the Netherlands and Belgium. Almost every day, new variants are added, and the Vectron has also found a home in Serbia and Bulgaria. The cost-effective Siemens Smartron is also gaining popularity. Many operators are competing for the favor of customers and trainspotters with increasingly elaborate and eye-catching designs.

New design. Since its market launch in 2014, more than 130 DE 18 locomotives have been sold, which today reliably serve in both shunting and mainline operations. With speeds ranging from 17 to 120 km/h, the DE 18 continuously delivers a power output of 1,800 kW, making it the most powerful medium-cab locomotive currently available on the European market. Cross-border variants with multi-country equipment are in operation, and the DE 18 can currently be equipped with four national train control systems and ETCS at various levels of development. As a result, these locomotives are found with German railway companies such as Rheincargo and Railadventure, as well as industrial railways like BASF, and with foreign operators like CFL, Europorte, and SNCF. Following the realization of the Vossloh G1000 BB and G1700 BB, the latest diesel locomotive, the DE 18, is now available as a model in N gauge. Each model includes a figure of a shunting driver with remote control for N gauge. The figure is exclusively re-modeled and produced for us by the company NOCH.
Matching the double-decker trains, ÖBB has now wrapped the first Taurus in Cityjet design. The 1116 181 will be used in both regional transport and in front of freight trains.

The E10 is part of the family of standard locomotives and was built for the Deutsche Bundesbahn starting in 1952. The four-axle machines were initially used in premium passenger services for express and D-trains. In 1962, a new streamlined locomotive body was designed for the Rheingold locomotives, which was also used from E10 288 onwards in the series machines. The bend at the front gave the locomotive its nickname "Bügelfalte" (Pleat). From then on, the locomotives were classified as E10.3 by the Deutsche Bundesbahn. Starting in the 1990s, the operational range of the locomotives, which were designated as series 110 from 1968, shifted towards local transport. Many machines were therefore equipped with multiple unit controls.
