The Garmin Index scale offers Wi-Fi support so you can wirelessly sync your data with Garmin Connect. On Garmin Connect, you can view your data in more detail and track your progress toward your goals—on your computer or your compatible mobile device. The Index recognizes up to 16 individuals and can automatically upload their body analysis data to their respective Garmin Connect accounts.

Insgesamt überzeugt die smarte Wage von Garmin durch unkompliziertes Handhabung, zuverlässige Messung und beste Verarbeitung. Sie ist in schwarz und weiß erhältlich und kann auch alleine oder unabhängig von anderen Fitnessuhren und Wearables genutzt werden. Die Garmin-Waage gibt die Messdaten über WLAN weiter ? was im Test sehr zuverlässig funktionierte. Die Funkprotokolle Bluetooth Smart und ANT+ nutzt sie nur für das Setup. Bei der Ermittlung des Körpergewichts machte die Waage im Test eine sehr gute Figur. Was uns gut gefallen hat: Die Index Smart Scale ist sehr gut verarbeitet, bietet konstante Messergebnisse und erlaubt die detaillierte Auswertung per App. Die Waage erkennt, wer gerade auf ihr steht und kann so bis zu 16 verschiedene Profile/Personen speichern.
