The microphone is a so-called end-fire model, meaning that sound is captured at the head of the microphone. An internal shock mount made of Sorbothane separates the microphone element from the housing, significantly reducing the impact of handling noise. The Heil PR 30 is excellent for guitar amplifiers, voice-overs, and vocals, making it a powerful tool for audio professionals!
