The MXR Standard cable is a guitar cable designed around a pure copper conductor. The capacitance of the cable is optimized to ensure that the sound of passive pickups remains big and rich. Surrounding the core is copper insulation to protect the signal from interference and noise. To reduce handling noise, there is both internal insulation and an external PVC jacket, and the carefully selected materials also enhance the flexibility of the cable.
