Nacon Gaming

The action-adventure game Hell Is Us, viewed from a third-person perspective, combines exploration, combat, and elements of horror. The main character embarks on a journey to uncover information about their origins in a war-torn country. However, this almost independent nation harbors a dark and terrifying secret. Supernatural beings, reminiscent of the region's monuments and gravestones, have recently emerged into the world.

The player-controlled character will inevitably encounter these creatures, but fortunately, they are equipped with the right weapons and supplies. Defeating these beings is no easy task, which is why there is much to explore and discover. The war-torn environment offers numerous items to find and sights to see, albeit in a haunting manner.

Hell Is Us sets itself apart from many new games by not explaining or highlighting everything the player discovers and experiences. Things are not overly simplified, allowing room for personal interpretations and conclusions. This way, players can enjoy the thrill of discovery rather than being overwhelmed by information.

The game does not provide detailed map views, mission hints, or compass arrows pointing to objectives. Players must observe, deduce, and find their own solutions and directions to explore the world. Exploration and immersion in the world are just as central to the experience as the narrative progression of the game.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
