Luigi is back on a mission to remove some stubborn ghosts from a few spooky mansions. With his trusty Poltergust vacuum cleaner that sucks up ghosts, Mario's brother is at the forefront of capturing these pesky phantoms.

Simply shining a light on the ghosts is no longer enough to immobilize them. Players must activate and release a flash function to stun the ghosts before sucking them up with the Poltergust. Different types of ghosts haunt the various mansions. Luigi must figure out how to defeat each one and uncover hidden secrets to unlock new areas and treasure chests. These new elements add variety and introduce new mechanisms for solving puzzles.

Players can use the Poltergust to help Luigi remove wallpaper to reveal hidden areas, clear away piles of leaves hiding treasures, or suck up stacks of coins and bills. But in reality, the nervous and reluctant Luigi just wants to get as far away from these ghosts as possible.

The 3D graphics bring the mansions, ghosts, and environment to life. Players will experience all the immersive chills and fun that the game has to offer.

This game is the first sequel to the Nintendo GameCube launch title from 2001, Luigi's Mansion.
