With the Nintendo Switch, fans can race thrillingly in the definitive version of "Mario Kart 8" whenever and wherever they want – even with up to eight friends in local multiplayer mode. "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" includes, in addition to all the tracks and characters from the Wii U version, all the tracks and characters that were previously only available as downloadable content. Also joining the fun are a few characters: the Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon, King Boo Huu, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr. The battle mode has been revamped and now also features balloon battles and Bob-omb throwing, with tracks such as Dekabahn Station and Battle Arena, as well as recurring tracks like Luigi's Mansion from Mario Kart: Double Dash for the Nintendo GameCube and Battle Course 1 from Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
