Does the product work for mounting on the 49" Dell screen (Dell U4919DW)? Or are there any restrictions, e.g. that the soundbar cannot be mounted properly?

No, this sound bar does not fit this monitor model. The Dell slim sound bar home page has a list of monitors that will fit. The model G3223Q is not included in the list.

The DELL bar has only one USB connection cable. This is how we connected it and this is how the sound works.

Does it matter how the Dell monitor is connected to the PC/laptop ? Is the monitor connected via HDMI and the soundbar via USB-A to the monitor or is USB-C mandatory?

Hi I have attached the monitor with USB-C. USB-A should not be a problem. But the notebook is only supplied with power (charged) via USB-C. Ralph
