Yes, as soon as the controller is connected and a headset is plugged in, it is shown in Windows as a new playback device
It also works with the Series controllers. I use an Xbox One and Xbox Series controller on the same adapter. Just so you know, the battery I used on my One controller for wireless also works for the Series controller.

It works with all controllers that have been released for the Xbox One (S/X).
So with the old normal XB1 controller, the newer Bluetooth XB1 controller, Elite Series 1 and Elite Series 2.

As it stands, you can connect the new Xbox controllers to your PC with Bluetooth or USB-C. The proprietary adapter thus seems to be history. If the PC does not have Bluetooth, you would have to install or connect a Bluetooth adapter.

jub use serlber also nen elite series 2 controller only with the halo version you can not remappen per xbox app
