I haven't had any problems. I use both AirPods and Nothing, and while it's true that with AirPods I can switch between Mac and iPhone instantly, after the first pairing with the Nothing, every time I put them on they connect immediately and without problem.

Yes, they are confusing the Ear (1) and the Ear (stick) in the product name. This here is the Ear (stick). Nothing Ear (1) (ANC, 5 h, Kabellos) This is the "real" Ear (1)

The specs (and product name) are wrong. Nothing itself on its website and also the Nothing app do not mention Active Noise Cancelling anywhere, nor can you set or switch off anything like ANC.
