I have connected the Appel TV Box via DVI. The new TV box also has 4K.
I had the projector in use for 1.5 years. I didn't have the beeping. The projector is great. The only thing I can say is that the fans are a bit louder.
What has been improved with the Vava VA-SP003 is that it is a league ahead in terms of colour (black levels) and sound.

No, that is impossible. This projector is an ultra short throw projector that has to stand directly in front of the screen, but can project very large images even at a very short distance. It also has the advantage that no one can walk into the projected image.

Here it seems to be simply a matter of different colours. The fan is 32 decibels. In principle, you will find this volume specification on all the beamers in our range.

Unfortunately, the remote control and the VAVA only work with Bluetooth. I have the Shield TV in use and can use its remote control to automatically switch on the home cinema system and the VAVA via HDMI as soon as the Shield TV switches on.

The image projection via the VAVA 4k beamer is free of flicker - PWM emanates from a screen and not from a beamer projecting the images onto a wall or screen!

No, it doesn't have a TV tuner. It has a few apps like Netflix, but I've never tried them. I use the TV with Apple TV and have a Teleboy subscription for TV on the Apple TV.

yes, it works...USB stick also works. Simply open the file manager in the menu and select the USB device and play the video via VLC or the integrated video player.
You probably can't find the Sky app, either because it is not supported by the beamer or because it can't be downloaded from the AppStore. Since the remote control of the beamer runs via Bleutooth, you have to find out whether the one from UPC also uses Bluetooth and whether the two also understand each other. You may have to switch to another universal remote control.
I don't know the beamer. But the WLAN of a hotspot is no different from that of a router. How the connection to the internet is established is not important for the WLAN connection. If that is your question.

The Chroma does not have many innovations compared to its predecessor. Both have 2500 ANSI lumens, pixel shift 4k and HDR10. There are first videos on YouTube comparing the two. The Chroma has ALP4.0 and the Triple Laser, which is why the Chroma has slightly better colours and black levels. Only you can decide whether the surcharge is worth it.
I think the price of the 4K UST will also come down a little soon.
